Ken Lavery

Ken Lavery has been a Consultant Maxillofacial Surgeon since 1986. During this time his special interest has been in facial trauma and head and neck reconstruction and dental implantology. He has previously examined in the Royal College of Surgeons of England and Edinburgh as well as for the European Intercollegiate Board in Maxillofacial Surgery. He has been, and continues to be, a reviewer to the British Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He was one of the first Advanced Trauma Life Support Instructors certified by the Royal College of Surgeons of England. He has completed the Bond Solon Expert Witness course and is completing a Masters in Law and Medical Practice at Cardiff University.
 
He has extensive experience in personal injury and negligence cases and has been instructed as an expert witness for both plaintiff and defendants.
